Privacy notice

grc.lauttainfo.com is edited by Alberto R., whose postal address is Travessera de Gràcia 20, 08024 Barcelona (Spain) and who answers email at [email protected]. He is the controller for any personal data processed through it. Using the guide never requires you to hand over information about yourself. There is nothing to sign up for, no form to fill in and nothing to buy.

What does involve your data is advertising. Google AdSense, which supplies the ads, places cookies or comparable identifiers in your browser to display ads, cap how often each one appears and count views and clicks, and, only with your permission, to personalise them. In Greece, Article 4(5) of Law 3471/2006 makes storing such identifiers on your device subject to your prior consent, and Article 6(1)(a) GDPR makes that consent the legal basis. Consent is not final: you can withdraw it, disable personalised ads through adssettings.google.com, or set your browser to reject third-party cookies. There is no visitor analytics on the site at present. Should some be introduced, it would be a self-hosted Umami instance that works without cookies and keeps counts, not profiles.

Like any website, this one creates access logs. Our server and Cloudflare, which carries the traffic to it, record for each request the IP address, browser details, timestamp and the page asked for. We keep them to run the site securely and to block misuse, relying on legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, never for marketing, and we delete them once they have done that job.

Under the GDPR and Greek Law 4624/2019 you are entitled to access your data, correct it, have it erased, restrict or object to its processing, and take it with you in a portable form. Requests go to [email protected] and are answered within one month. Google and Cloudflare may handle data outside the European Union; where they do, they use the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

You also have the right to complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr), or to the supervisory authority of the EU country where you are based. If this notice changes, the new version will replace this page.
