Rafina – Andros ferry: Seajets' Super Star to Gavrio, day by day

Andros is the first island on the ferry line that leaves Rafina for Tinos and Mykonos, and its ferry harbour is Gavrio. In November 2026 Seajets' booking search shows the same ship, the car ferry Super Star, on the Rafina – Andros leg for every date in the month, and at the end of October the Rafina Port Authority's board already listed its 16:30 departure for Andros, Tinos and Mykonos.

From Monday to Friday the ship leaves Rafina at 16:30 and is due in Andros at 18:30, while the boat back leaves Andros at 10:10 and reaches Rafina at 12:00. Saturdays have an extra early run from Rafina at 07:00 as well as a 17:15, with the return from Andros at 14:25; on Sundays there is a 17:15 from Rafina and a 14:30 from Andros. The pattern held on all four weeks checked, 2 to 29 November.

Each of those sailings shows the same basic fare in the search: €19.70 for one passenger, one way. The Super Star also carries vehicles, but car prices, seat classes and children's fares are only shown after a sailing has been picked, so this page gives the passenger figure alone.

One price for every November crossing: €19.70

Every November sailing between Rafina and Andros, in either direction and on any weekday, shows the same basic price in Seajets' search: €19.70 for one passenger, one way. It is the figure listed before a passenger type or seat is chosen, and Seajets' terms state that its prices already include VAT and port fees.

At Rafina the loading order for cars is decided under the port authority's regulations, not by Seajets. Passengers other than the driver walk aboard separately, and each driver takes their own car on and off the ship.

Rafina to Gavrio, the first call of the line

The Super Star's route out of Rafina is the line to Andros, Tinos and Mykonos, and Andros is its first call. Seajets' search treats Rafina – Andros as a direct sailing and shows departure and arrival times for it, about two hours apart on most dates.

Booking and boarding the Super Star

• Give a mobile number

  Seajets advises passengers to leave a mobile number when booking, so that it can reach them if the authorities stop sailings in bad weather.

• Electric or gas-powered car

  Declare an electric, hybrid, LPG or CNG vehicle when you book. Batteries of fully electric cars and rechargeable hybrids must be at 40% or less, and LPG or CNG tanks no more than half full.

• Teenagers travelling alone

  Passengers aged 15 to 18 may travel without a parent only with a consent form certified by the police or a port authority, carried in the original together with an identity card.

• Discounts need Greek documents

  Seajets' family, student and disability discounts are tied to Greek official cards and certificates. Visitors with foreign documents pay the standard fare.

• Tickets checked at sea

  The purser's office checks tickets while boarding and during the voyage. If you hold a reduced ticket and cannot show proof of the discount, you pay the difference on board.

Three companies on the Rafina – Andros run

Seajets is not the only company selling this crossing. Fast Ferries runs Rafina – Andros – Tinos – Mykonos with Theologos P, Fast Ferries Andros and Ekaterini P, and announced one to two sailings a day up to 31 October 2026; Golden Star Ferries also sells Rafina – Andros. Neither appears in the table, which follows one company only, and their times and prices should be checked with them directly.

Built in Belgium and 121 metres long, the Super Star is listed in Seajets' fleet with capacity for 1,480 passengers and 240 vehicles, with 21 knots given as its maximum speed; the services named for it include a shop, a café-bar, Wi-Fi, accessibility features, and both kennels and cabins for pets. The Rafina Port Authority warns that departures change often and that it updates its board every Wednesday at 17:00.
