Last winter, between 9 January and 6 March 2026, Poros on Kefalonia had a second Levante destination: a midday boat to Pisaetos on Ithaca at 12:45, back at 13:45, except on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. That page is still on the company's site with no later dates, so for the winter of 2026–27 the only Poros timetable Levante has published is the one to Kyllini on the mainland. Levante's other Ithaca crossing, from Sami to Pisaetos, has a table running to 8 January 2027 (see the Sami – Ithaca ferry). The Kyllini timetable is valid from 1 November 2026 until 28 April 2027, with three departures each way: 08:15, 16:30 and 21:00 from Kyllini, and 05:45, 14:15 and 18:45 from Poros.
This is Poros on Kefalonia, a harbour in the Ionian Sea, not the island of Poros in the Saronic Gulf. On Sundays Levante keeps three Kyllini – Poros sailings each way and moves only the morning one: Kyllini at 09:30 and Poros at 07:30, with the afternoon and evening departures unchanged.
October's timetable also had a fourth boat on Tuesdays and Fridays, at 12:00 from Kyllini and 10:00 from Poros. Levante has not carried it into the winter period, so from November the weekday gap on the mainland side runs from 08:15 to 16:30. The adult fare on foot stays at €14.50 one way on the current list.

What Levante charges an adult for Poros: €14.50
Levante's list sets the Kyllini – Poros adult fare at €14.50 under a column headed 'One way'; no return price appears on it. Levante describes every figure there as already discounted. Under its terms of use, the sum printed on a ticket is the full amount, made up of the net fare, third-party fees and deductions, and VAT.
The table also has rows for younger passengers, cars, motorbikes, campers and lorries, and the Greek version adds students, disabled passengers and NAT pensioners to the 5-to-10 band. Since the vehicle rows leave open whether a driver is covered, and the two child rows overlap at age five, only the adult figure is reproduced here; a phone call to Levante (+30 210 94 99 400) gets a quote for a family or a car before booking.

Kyllini on the Elis coast, Poros on Kefalonia
Cars and foot passengers board at both ends. Levante's terms want cars parked in the waiting zone a full hour ahead of sailing and people on foot at the ship half an hour ahead, and they are blunt about lateness: a ticket holder who misses the sailing gets nothing back.
Kyllini
The Kefalonia ship loads at the same Elis harbour as the Zakynthos one, so the destination printed on your ticket is the thing to match: Levante writes this route as Kyllini – Poros (Kefalonia), Κυλλήνη – Πόρος (Κεφαλονιά) in Greek. From this side the first winter sailing is 08:15, or 09:30 on a Sunday.
Poros (Kefalonia)
On the island the boat ties up at the ferry terminal of Poros, which OpenStreetMap places in the Elios-Pronoi district of the municipality of Argostoli. Its 05:45 departure for the mainland is the earliest on Levante's winter table for this route, six days a week.
Across the Ionian to the south-east corner of Kefalonia
The crossing runs from Kyllini, on the Elis coast of the western Peloponnese, over open Ionian water to Poros on the south-east side of Kefalonia, an island Levante's destination page calls the largest in the Ionian Sea. Neither the timetable nor the price list states a distance or a sailing time for this pair of ports, and no figure is worked out here.
Tickets, refunds and boarding for the Poros boat
- Your name on the ticket
A Levante ticket is personal and good only for the sailing printed on it. The company asks for identity details, a phone number and an email so it can tell you about a delay or cancellation.
- Miss it, lose it
Be at the ship 30 minutes before departure on foot, or in the vehicle area 60 minutes before with a car. Arriving after the ship leaves means no refund.
- Refund scale
Cancellations go through the agency that issued the ticket: everything back 14 days or more ahead, 75% from 7 days, 50% from 12 hours, and nothing within the final 12 hours.
- Open tickets
An open ticket will not get you aboard. It has to be turned into a booking on a named sailing, and it stays valid for 12 months from issue.
- Mobility aids free
Besides the 50 kg hand-luggage allowance, a disabled passenger may bring the equipment needed to move independently at no charge, whatever it weighs. Ask for assistance at least 48 hours ahead.
Clean Monday, Easter Sunday and four boats from late April
Two winter dates set this crossing apart from the Kyllini – Zakynthos ferry that leaves the same harbour. On 25 December and 1 January there is no Kyllini – Poros boat at all, while the Zakynthos run keeps one sailing each way. And Levante's Greek page names Clean Monday, Καθαρά Δευτέρα, 15 March 2027, as a day on the Sunday plan for Poros.
From 29 April 2027 a longer timetable takes over with four sailings each way: 07:15, 12:15, 17:00 and 21:30 from Kyllini, and 05:00, 09:30, 14:45 and 19:15 from Poros. Easter Sunday, 2 May 2027, shrinks to one round trip, 09:00 from Poros and 11:00 from Kyllini. The five ships take turns on the route, and the one called Kefalonia, 120.78 m long, has escalators for boarding and kennels on board according to its fleet page.

Kyllini to Poros on Kefalonia: what people ask
Is this Poros the island near Athens?
No. The ferry here goes to Poros on Kefalonia, in the Ionian Sea. The island of Poros in the Saronic Gulf is a different place, and nothing on this page applies to it.
When does the last winter boat leave Kyllini for Kefalonia?
At 21:00, on every winter day that has sailings, Sundays included. The last departure from Poros back to the mainland is 18:45.
Does the extra midday sailing on Tuesdays and Fridays continue after October?
No. The 12:00 from Kyllini and the 10:00 from Poros belong to the October 2026 period only; from 1 November the table has three departures each way.
Can I get to Kefalonia from Kyllini on Christmas Day?
Not on this route. Levante runs no Kyllini – Poros sailings on 25 December 2026 or on 1 January 2027.
How much does a foot passenger pay for Poros?
Levante lists €14.50 for one adult travelling one way. Its terms say the ticket total includes third-party charges and VAT.
Where do I buy a ticket if the ship does not sell them?
From Levante's website, its agencies and partner travel agents, its office in Kallithea, Athens, or by ringing +30 210 94 99 400.
Does Levante say when the ferry reaches Poros?
No. Its table for this route gives departure times only, with no arrivals, and this page does not guess a crossing time.
